Background<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Albanian judiciary continues to face challenges in delivering high-quality justice due to staffing shortages and skills gaps among newly appointed magistrates, which affect court efficiency, decision-making quality, and public trust. This initiative aims to strengthen the professional skills and ethical standards of Albanian judges through cooperation with the UK Judicial Office, focusing on improved courtroom and caseload management, judgment writing, and judicial ethics, while introducing effective judicial practices aligned with European standards. Through targeted training and institutional exchanges with UK judges, the project seeks to enhance judicial performance, reduce case backlogs, and support Albania\u2019s progress toward EU accession and a more efficient, independent judiciary.<\/p>\n

CEDI Centre is implementing the project \u201cProject Education Partnership\u201d founded by the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland acting through the Foreign, Commonwealth, & Development Office (\u201cFCDO\u201d), which aims to enhance courtroom and caseload management, judgement writing, and judicial ethics, while introducing efficient models from the UK to help Albania align with European standards of justice quality and efficiency.<\/p>\n

Objective <\/strong><\/p>\n

The CEDI Centre d<\/strong>esires to engage a Travel Company that will be responsible for providing transport and travel related services on the Tirana\u2013London\u2013Tirana route in support of project activities.<\/p>\n

Duties and responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Travel Company will be responsible for the following services:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Reservation and issuance of airline tickets for the Tirana\u2013London\u2013Tirana route<\/li>\n
  • Organization of travel packages, including flights, accommodation, transfers, and travel insurance<\/li>\n
  • Assistance with travel documentation, including visa information and entry requirements<\/li>\n
  • Provision of customer support before, during, and after travel<\/li>\n
  • Delivery of services in accordance with international travel standards<\/li>\n
  • Accurate and timely information on schedules, prices, and applicable conditions<\/li>\n
  • Management of changes, cancellations, and refunds<\/li>\n
  • Coordination and cooperation with airlines and service partners in the United Kingdom<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Necessary qualifications and requirements<\/strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Registered as a travel agency or transport service provider in Albania with the fiscal authorities and VAT number;<\/li>\n
    • Hold all valid licenses and permits required by Albanian authorities and relevant international bodies to operate travel services between Albania and the United Kingdom.<\/li>\n
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in organizing international travel, preferably on European or UK routes.<\/li>\n
    • Demonstrated experience in ticketing, travel coordination, and customer service for international destinations.<\/li>\n
    • Availability of customer support before, during, and after travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
