Description

Providing young people with information about the labor market is a key element in empowering them and supporting their successful integration into professional and civic life. In Albania, one of the main challenges faced by young people is the lack of accurate and structured information regarding labor market demands, the most sought-after professions, and the skills required by employers. An important factor contributing to this situation is the lack of effective career guidance within educational institutions. Many young people make decisions regarding their field of study without having sufficient information about employment prospects, growing sectors of the economy, or alternatives such as vocational education and training. The absence of career counseling and supportive information mechanisms negatively affects their choices and increases the risk of long-term unemployment. Improving young people’s awareness and understanding of the labor market is an essential step toward increasing employment, reducing informality, and fostering more meaningful civic and professional engagement. CEDI Center is implementing the project “Towards a Decent Future: Youth and the Labor Market”, which aims to assess young people’s knowledge and strengthen their capacity for integration into the labor market.

 

Objective

CEDI Center will contract two Experts who will be responsible for preparing a study aimed at measuring the level of awareness and knowledge that young people have regarding the labor market. The study will employ a quantitative research methodology, specifically through the use of questionnaires. The Experts will analyze the collected survey data and prepare a report that will be published on the official website of CEDI Center.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

More specifically, the Experts will be required to:

  • Review and finalize the study questionnaire designed to measure young people’s level of awareness regarding the labor market.
  • Analyze the data collected through the questionnaires using quantitative research methods and analytical techniques.
  • Prepare tables, charts, and statistical presentations of the study findings.
  • Interpret the key findings and identify trends, challenges, and needs related to young people’s access to labor market information.
  • Draft the study report.
  • Ensure that the report is based on accurate data, professionally analyzed and in compliance with scientific research standards.
  • Submit a draft report for review and incorporate CEDI Center’s comments and recommendations into the final version.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • University degree in Sociology, Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics, Public Administration, Law, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in conducting studies, research, or social and economic analyses.
  • Proven experience in the application of quantitative research methods and data analysis.
  • Experience in drafting research reports and analytical documents.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet established deadlines.
  • Experience in projects related to youth, education, employment, or the labor market.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Përshkrimi

Informimi i të rinjve mbi tregun e punës përbën një element kyç për fuqizimin e tyre dhe për integrim të suksesshëm në jetën profesionale dhe qytetare. Në Shqipëri, një nga sfidat kryesore që hasin të rinjtë lidhet me mungesën e informacionit të saktë dhe të strukturuar mbi kërkesat e tregut të punës, profesionet më të kërkuara dhe aftësitë që kërkohen nga punëdhënësit. Një faktor i rëndësishëm që ndikon në këtë situatë është mungesa e orientimit profesional efektiv në institucionet arsimore. Shumë të rinj marrin vendime për drejtimin e studimeve pa pasur informacion të mjaftueshëm mbi perspektivat e punësimit, sektorët në zhvillim apo alternativat si arsimi dhe formimi profesional. Mungesa e këshillimit në karrierë dhe e mekanizmave mbështetës për informim ndikon negativisht në zgjedhjet e tyre dhe rrit rrezikun e papunësisë afatgjatë.  Përmirësimi i informimit të të rinjve mbi tregun e punës përbën një hap thelbësor drejt rritjes së punësimit, reduktimit të informalitetit dhe ndërtimit të një angazhimi më të denjë qytetar dhe profesional. Qendra CEDI po zbaton projektin “Drejt një të ardhmeje të denjë: rinia dhe tregu i punës”  i cili synon të vlerësojë njohuritë e të  rinjve dhe të rrisë  kapacitetin  për integrimin e tyre në tregun e punës.

 

Objektivi

Qendra CEDI do të kontraktojë dy  Ekspertë të cilët do të jenë përgjegjës për përgatitjen e një studimi, në të cilin do të masin sa të informuar janë të rinjtë mbi tregun e punës. Për përgatitjen e studimit do të përdoret metoda sasiore, përkatësisht ajo e pyetësorëve.  Ekspertët do të analizojnë pyetësorët dhe do të përgatisin në një raport i cili do të ngarkohet në faqen zyrtare të Qendrës CEDI.

 

Detyrat dhe përgjegjësitë
Më konkretisht, detyrat që kërkohen nga Ekspertët janë si më poshtë:

  • Të shqyrtojnë dhe finalizojnë pyetësorin e studimit për matjen e nivelit të informimit të të rinjve mbi tregun e punës.
  • Të analizojnë të dhënat e mbledhura përmes pyetësorëve duke përdorur metoda dhe teknika sasiore të analizës.
  • Të përgatisin tabelat, grafikët dhe paraqitjet statistikore të rezultateve të studimit.
  • Të interpretojnë gjetjet kryesore dhe të identifikojnë trendet, sfidat dhe nevojat e të rinjve në lidhje me informimin për tregun e punës.
  • Të hartojnë raportin e studimit
  • Të sigurojnë që raporti të jetë i bazuar në të dhëna të sakta, të analizuara profesionalisht dhe në përputhje me standardet e kërkimit shkencor.
  • Të dorëzojnë draft-raportin për komente dhe të reflektojnë sugjerimet e Qendrës CEDI në versionin final.

 

Kualifikimet dhe kërkesat e nevojshme:

  • Diplomë universitare në Sociologji, Shkenca Sociale, Ekonomi, Statistikë, Juridik, Administrim Publik, Psikologji ose fusha të ngjashme.
  • Minimumi 3 vite përvojë profesionale në realizimin e studimeve, hulumtimeve ose analizave sociale dhe ekonomike.
  • Përvojë në përdorimin e metodave sasiore të kërkimit dhe analizës së të dhënave.
  • Përvojë në hartimin e raporteve kërkimore dhe dokumenteve analitike.
  • Aftësi të shkëlqyera analitike, organizative dhe komunikuese.
  • Aftësi për të punuar në mënyrë të pavarur dhe për të respektuar afatet e përcaktuara.
  • Përvoja në projekte që lidhen me të rinjtë, arsimin, punësimin ose tregun e punës.
