Background
The proposed intervention in Vlora municipality directly addresses the persistent challenge of youth exclusion from employment, education, and training by strengthening the outreach andengagement components of Albania’s Youth Guarantee supported through the EU4Youthproject. Grounded in the Youth Guarantee Implementation Plan (YGIP) 2023–2025, the initiative aligns with the National Employment and Skills Strategy (NESS) and international
standards promoting decent work, social inclusion of the most vulnerable youth and gender equality. CEDI Centre is implementing the project “Level 1.0 – Reach out of YOU-th Guarantee” founded by UNICEF Albania, which aims to strengthen the outreach and engagement component of the Youth Guarantee targeting 350 NEETs.
Objective
The CEDI Center is requesting an Expert for adoption and delivering of methodology, training of youth mediators, Adopting UNICEF NEETs outreach methodology and preparing 1 informative leaflet & poster & Coach KVR members. Also, the expert will be responsible to deliver 3 pop-up events, prepare content & campaign of activity “my experience counts to share” and to present results in the final roundtable in the framework of this project.
Duties and responsibilities
The CEDI Centre will require the services of an Expert, who will deliver the tasks mentioned below:
- To adapt and deliver the methodology in a 2-day youth mediator bootcamp;
- To deliver a 2-day training for youth mediators on NEET profiling, outreach techniques, safeguarding, gender-sensitive communication, and referral pathways aligned with the Youth Guarantee;
- To adopt Unicef NEETs outreach methodology + 1 informative leaflet & poster & Coach KVR members;
- To prepare and deliver 3 pop up events;
- To prepare content & campaign in the framework of the activity “My experience counts to share”;
- To present results at the final roundtable for sustainability & learning;
- To report to the CEDI Centre within the framework of this project.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- University degree and Master degree in law, journalism or social sciences;
- At least 5 years of professional experience;
- Previous experience in bootcamp activities, training; outreach methodology; pop up event activities, preparation of content and campaign, presentation of result in roundtables etc
- Previous experience with non-profit organizations;
- Very good communication skills;
- Very good organization and time management skills.
