The CEDI Centre, with the support of the Canadian Government through the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives, has launched the podcast “Rinia Pyet”.

This podcast aims to foster dialogue between policymakers and young people to enhance their participation in decision-making processes.

Throughout its six episodes, the podcast hosted MPs, ministers, and high-ranking officials from the two largest political parties in the country. The moderation was conducted by young members of the Local Youth Councils from six municipalities nationwide.

Our guests included:

  • Ms. Bora Muzhaqi – Minister of Youth and Children, moderated by Ester Ibrahimi & Branko Shehati;
  • Ms. Floriana Garo – Member of the PD Presidency, moderated by Benila Hoxha;
  • Mr. Toni Gogu – PS Deputy, moderated by Emanuel Leka;
  • Ms. Jorida Tabaku – PD Deputy, moderated by Alkida Gazidede;
  • Ms. Pranvera Resulaj – PS Deputy, moderated by Silvana Damzi;
  • Ms. Andia Ulliri – PD Deputy, moderated by Klest Kraja.

This initiative was organized as part of the project “Empowering Girls and Boys for a Democratic and Equal Society”, implemented by the CEDI Centre with the support of the Canadian Government through the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives.
